Dan Slater

Dan Slater, PhD, MBI, serves as a Sr. Systems Application Analyst in Pharmacy Informatics at Oregon Health & Science University, where responsibilities include integrating Epic Willow Ambulatory into a large academic medical center and managing enterprise clinical data conversions and migrations. Previous experience includes a role as Principal Scientist at Simulsoft LLC, focusing on intellectual property and the development of a GUI with an embedded expert system. In addition, Slater worked as an Environmental Research and Database Consultant, providing expertise in hardware-software interfacing and database development, and held a position as Environmental Scientist/Interim Air Quality Manager at ENSR, where air quality studies were conducted for industrial and military clients. Dan Slater holds a PhD in Civil (Environmental) Engineering, an MSE in Civil (Environmental) Engineering, and an MBI in Health (Biomedical) Informatics from OHSU, as well as a BA in Physics from Bates College.
