Lisa A. Schimmel

Lisa A. Schimmel, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist with extensive experience in clinical practice and academia. Since November 2011, Lisa has worked at OHSU as a psychologist in the Student Health & Wellness Center and as an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry, providing psychotherapy and mindfulness-based services to students and post-doctoral fellows. In addition to private practice, which commenced in July 1997, Lisa has held academic roles, including adjunct faculty at Pacific University and Brandman University, and served as Director of Clinical Training at Argosy University. Lisa’s educational background includes a Ph.D. and an MA in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, as well as a BA from The University of Texas at Austin.
