Brooke Herbert

Brooke Herbert is an experienced cinematographer, editor, documentary filmmaker, and journalist with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a cinematographer and editor at OPB since February 2024, Brooke has also worked at multiple notable organizations, including Blue Chalk Media and The Oregonian, where skills in video production and multimedia storytelling were honed. As the owner of a personal website since May 2009, Brooke directs, produces, films, reports, and photographs a wide range of projects for media outlets, commercial clients, and NGOs. Previous roles include a graduate assistantship at WOUB Public Media, visual journalist positions, and experience as an instructor at Ohio University. Brooke holds an MA in Documentary Photography and Multimedia Production from Ohio University and a BFA in Photography and Art History from the University of Louisville.
