Kate Davidson

Business/economics Reporter at OPB

Kate Davidson is a seasoned journalist specializing in business and economics reporting. Since January 2015, Kate has served as a Business/Economics Reporter and All Things Considered Host at OPB. Previous experience includes reporting for Marketplace from APM and serving as a Michigan Reporter for Michigan Radio's Changing Gears project, focusing on economic changes in the industrial Midwest. Kate also contributed to NPR as an Associate and Independent Producer, notably producing the radio documentary Saints and Indians. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Journalism and an Advanced Certificate in Economics and Business Journalism from Columbia University, as well as a Master of Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Yale University.
