Matthew Schiller

NW Region Chief Engineer at OPB

Matthew Schiller has a diverse work experience in the field of broadcast engineering. Matthew started their career as a Broadcast Engineer at US Air Force Reserve in 2008, where they maintained video and photography equipment for combat camera missions. Matthew also built a local network for file server and archive use. In 2008, they joined KGTV Channel 10 as a Broadcast Engineer, responsible for project management, system design, and integration of broadcast equipment. Matthew worked closely with the Department of Energy on capital recommendations and execution. Matthew maintained various broadcast systems, including the Grass Valley Router and Master Control system. In 2015, they moved to KPRC as a Broadcast Engineer, roles including broadcast engineering responsibilities. Schiller is currently working as the NW Region Chief Engineer at OPB since 2018.

Matthew Schiller attended the Defense Information School from 2004 to 2005, where they focused on Broadcast Engineering. Matthew did not obtain a degree during this time. In 2010, they obtained the Certified Broadcast Television Engineer (CBTE) certification from the Society of Broadcast Engineers.
