Robyn El Kay

Robyn El Kay is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Strategic Engagement and Events at OPB since May 2023. Prior to this role, Robyn held various positions, including Associate Director of Audience Development at Cara Chicago from June 2021 to May 2023 and Senior Engagement Officer at the same organization. Robyn's background includes experience as a Communications and Development Assistant at the Chicago Chamber Choir and a Social Impact Consultant at Ah So Insights. Additionally, Robyn led as the Senior Account Manager - Social Responsibility Leader at Lagniappe Beverage from January 2018 to June 2021 and provided private music instruction as a self-employed Private Music Instructor. Robyn's earlier career included roles at Whole Foods Market as a Wine and Cheese Buyer, serving at The Purple Pig and Cichetti, and managing operations as a Floor Manager at The Refinery. Robyn holds a Master's degree from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Voice Performance and Music Education from Ithaca College.
