Derek Kosty is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data analysis and methodology. Since July 2007, Derek has served at the Oregon Research Institute in various roles including Associates Scientist, Senior Data Analyst, Data Analyst, and Research Assistant. Concurrently, since September 2018, Derek has held the position of Methodologist at the University of Oregon. Prior experience includes a Data Analyst role at Abacus Research, LLC from July 2007 to November 2010. Derek completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Methodology, Policy, and Leadership at the University of Oregon between 2009 and 2015, following a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Economics and Mathematics from the same institution, earned from 2003 to 2007.
