Mary Hedrick is a seasoned educational professional with extensive experience in teaching, program coordination, and research. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at the Oregon Research Institute since August 2015, Mary contributes to the Alphabet Details Research Project funded by the US Department of Education, focusing on preschool assessments in the Twin Rivers Unified School District. Previously, Mary was the Coordinator of School Readiness for Yuba City Unified School District from December 2005 to July 2013, where program design and management for children aged 0-5 were central responsibilities. Prior roles include serving as an Assistant Principal, teacher, and BTSA Support Provider within the same district from December 1990 to December 2005, as well as teaching Special Education and Kindergarten at Paradise Unified School District from September 1979 to June 1989. Mary holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from California State University-Sacramento and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University, Chico.
