Bruce Melzer has extensive experience in business consulting and development, currently serving as a Strategic Advisor on the Capital Access Team at the Oregon Small Business Development Center Network since June 2015. Prior roles include Principal at Shift Business Consulting, LLC, and a Core Team Member at Hatch Innovation, where insights were provided on business strategy and crowdfunding initiatives. As a Senior Program Manager at PECI, Bruce managed national customer relationships and led a successful proposal development team. Previous experience includes directing digital media business development at NPR and business reporting at both ABCNews.com and the Anchorage Daily News. Bruce holds an MS in Journalism from Columbia University, a BS from the University of California, Davis, and has furthered education at the East-West Center.
