Steven Gillen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Steven began their career in 1996 as a Restaurant Manager at Shari's Restaurant, where they effectively managed a high-volume establishment. Moving on, they joined Harry and David in 2000 as a Retail Marketing Manager, overseeing a significant marketing budget for 135 gourmet food retail stores. Two years later, they transitioned to Musician's Friend as a Brand Manager, responsible for the brand management of web and catalog marketing operations. At U.S. Cellular, starting in 2008, Steven focused on Customer Experience Marketing, implementing marketing activities and supporting store managers to enhance the overall customer experience. In 2012, they joined Harry & David once again, this time as a Senior Brand Marketing Manager Retail Stores, successfully increasing sales and profits through various marketing channels. Steven then joined Oregon State Credit Union in 2013 as the Director of Marketing, leading the marketing operations and working with leadership to develop annual and quarterly marketing plans.
Steven Gillen completed their Bachelor's degree in Business at Southern Oregon University from 1994 to 1996. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business from 1999 to 2001.
