Allison Dawn

Allison Dawn is currently an MSc Student at Oregon State University, where responsibilities include building boosted regression tree models for zooplankton abundance and gray whale foraging responses, as well as leading projects like TOPAZ and JASPER, focusing on field logistics and student mentorship. Previously, Allison served as an Undergraduate Independent Researcher at the Marine Robotics and Remote Sensing Lab, conducting an honors thesis on whale behaviors and assisting in developing conservation tools for Adelie penguins. Additional experience includes a role as a Field/Lab Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, contributing to significant NSF-funded research, alongside various positions in property management. Allison holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
