Evie Smith

Evie Smith is a seasoned agricultural professional with extensive experience in sustainable farming and community collaboration. Currently serving as the Small Farms and Master Gardeners Program Coordinator at Oregon State University, Evie supports small farmers and Master Gardeners in developing sustainable agricultural systems in Lincoln County. Previous roles include Curriculum Development Consultant at the Coffee Quality Institute, Staff Research Associate at the University of California Cooperative Extension, and various research positions at the University of California, Davis, where Evie focused on climate change adaptation, coffee farming strategies, and advanced agricultural practices. Evie holds two Master's degrees from the University of California, Davis, in Horticulture and Agronomy and International Agricultural Development, along with a Bachelor's degree in Soil Science and Horticulture from Auburn University.
