Inara Scott

Inara Scott is a Senior Associate Dean and Associate Professor of Business Law and Sustainable Business at Oregon State University since July 2012. Inara teaches courses on environmental law, business law, and sustainable business, while focusing research on legal aspects of sustainable business, constitutional law, and higher education pedagogy. Previous roles include Associate Dean for Teaching and Learning Excellence and Assistant Dean for Teaching and Learning Excellence, where Inara implemented strategies to enhance teaching effectiveness. Inara's experience in regulatory affairs includes serving as Manager of Rates and Regulatory Affairs at NW Natural and Associate General Counsel at Portland General Electric. Additionally, Inara practiced as an Associate at Ater Wynne LLP. Inara holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Lewis and Clark Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Duke University.
