Joseph Davidson

Joseph Davidson is an experienced academic and engineer currently serving as an Associate Professor of Robotics and Mechanical Engineering at Oregon State University since September 2018, following a tenure as an Assistant Professor in the same field. Prior to this, Joseph held a position as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 2016 to August 2018 and was a Graduate Research Assistant at Washington State University from August 2013 to May 2016. Joseph also has industry experience as a Project Manager at CH2M Hill Plateau Remediation Company from October 2009 to August 2012 and served in various leadership roles in the US Army's 3rd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment from August 2005 to March 2009. Joseph earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University.
