Shannon Riggs

Shannon Riggs currently serves as the Associate Vice Provost of Educational Programs and Learning Innovation at Oregon State University, where leadership is provided for educational program development and innovation. Over the years, Shannon has held various roles within the university, including Executive Director of Academic Programs and Learning Innovation for Ecampus, and has led teams in instructional design and course development. Shannon's experience in higher education includes positions at Chemeketa Community College, DeVry University Online, and several other institutions, where courses in composition and writing were developed and taught. Additionally, Shannon is an accomplished writer with publications including a picture book and contributions to national publications, along with a master's degree in Professional Writing from Old Dominion University and a bachelor's degree in English from Oregon State University.
