Megan grew up in Monroe, New York, and moved to Eugene in 2010 to attend the University of Oregon as a student-athlete on the track and cross country teams. She graduated with a B.S. in Human Physiology in 2014 and briefly pursued running full time after that. During her time running, Megan began coaching athletes through Special Olympics, where she found a passion for working with individuals who experience disabilities.
Currently, Megan is a Master’s student at the University of Oregon studying Nonprofit Management with a focus on health and disability studies. She was introduced to OSLP through her work with the Hilyard Community Center as an adaptive recreation instructor. She has a strong passion for making sure our community is inclusive and accessible to everyone.
In her spare time, Megan enjoys running, CrossFit, and coaching others.
