Russell Kelban serves as the Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Engagement at Oregon Symphony since January 2020, focusing on audience growth and enhancing patron experiences for one of the largest arts organizations in the West. Previously, Russell held the position of Chief Marketing Director at San Francisco Symphony from 2014 to 2018, where responsibilities included developing audience engagement strategies and improving customer experiences. Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Marketing at Viacom, where Russell managed a 20-member team to develop impactful marketing strategies, and Vice President of Digital Marketing and Brand Marketing at Universal Pictures, overseeing significant revenue-generating marketing initiatives. Russell also served as Executive Director of Worldwide Marketing at Discreet, managing global marketing teams and branding strategies for a B2B software portfolio. Russell holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from USC Marshall School of Business and a BA in Political Science from UCLA.
