Michelle Long

Michelle Long, MBA, CPA, currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Controller at Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative since November 2020. Prior experience includes a managerial role at Connected Professional Accountants, LLC, where responsibilities encompassed municipal and non-profit audits, tax consulting, and financial statement preparation from July 2013 to November 2020. Michelle also held various positions in the education and non-profit sectors, including Program Director at Valley Fellowship, and Accountant at Eastern Oregon University, where significant efficiency improvements were achieved. A background in accounting and finance has been shaped through multiple roles, including as a consultant for Dynamic Pizza, Inc., and a full charge bookkeeper in various capacities. Michelle holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business/Economics with a specialization in Accounting from Eastern Oregon University.
