Oregon Zoo
Mary Coolidge is an experienced wildlife professional with a background in biology and communication. Presently serving as the California Condor Keeper at Oregon Zoo since 2015, Mary also coordinates the BirdSafe Portland Campaign at Portland Audubon, focusing on outreach and advocacy for bird-friendly building practices. Mary has advised architects and planners on sustainable design solutions to reduce avian window collisions. Prior experience includes work as a Communications Specialist at the Center for Diversity & the Environment and as a Contract Biologist at Oregon State University. Mary holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Biology and English from Lewis & Clark College.
