Chris Jones

Chris Jones has a diverse work experience in software engineering and web development. Chris worked as a Senior Software Engineer at O'Reilly Media since 2016. Prior to that, they owned and developed websites as a Developer/Owner at brack3t since 2009, specializing in Python and the Django web framework. Chris also worked as a Developer at Lincoln Loop from 2013 to 2014. Chris served as a Lead Developer at TRNXS.NET in 2009, where they developed a Python socket server and worked on PHP and Zend Framework for the front end. Chris worked as a Developer at Card Player Media in 2009 and as a Software Engineer at Mercantila in 2009. At Greenspun Media Group from 2008 to 2009, they served as a Python/Django Developer for online newspaper publications. Chris started their career as a Technical Lead/Lead Developer at Schadler Kramer Group Advertising [SK+G] from 2004 to 2008, where they developed custom content management systems using PHP and MySQL and provided IT support.

Chris Jones attended the College of Southern Nevada from 1999 to 2000, where they studied Computer Science. However, no degree was obtained during this time.
