Nicholas Adams has a diverse work experience in the publishing industry. Nicholas started their career at Carswell, a Thomson Reuters business, where they worked as a Conversion Specialist from February 2012 to August 2014. Nicholas then moved on to O'Reilly Media, where they held multiple positions over the years. Nicholas started as a Production Editor in July 2015 and worked in that role until September 2018. Nicholas then became a Digital Publishing Specialist and later a Senior Digital Publishing Specialist, starting in September 2018 and currently holding that position.

Nicholas Adams completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from the University of Toronto, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Afterward, they pursued further education at Boston University, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Editorial Studies, specializing in the field of Editorial Studies. This postgraduate degree was completed between the years 2014 and 2015.
