Tobias Zwingmann

Tobias Zwingmann has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tobias is currently the Managing Partner at RAPYD.AI since August 2020. In 2022, they joined O'Reilly Media as an Author & Online Trainer. Prior to that, Tobias worked as a Data Science Mentor at Springboard starting from February 2018. In December 2022, they became an Instructor at Data Science Dojo. Additionally, Tobias worked as an Independent Consultant at Toptal starting from May 2021.

Before transitioning into the field of data science, Tobias held multiple positions at Deutsche Messe AG. From November 2018 to September 2022, they served as a Senior Data Scientist, responsible for building predictive models and providing insights on customer trends and behavior. Tobias also held the role of Data Scientist from September 2016 to October 2018, where they worked on churn prediction, next best offer recommendations, customer segmentation, and visual analytics. Prior to their data science roles, Tobias was a Project Director, leading international trade show projects across various countries.

Tobias began their career at Deutsche Messe Dubai Branch as a Management Trainee from October 2009 to January 2010.

Tobias Zwingmann completed their education at various institutions and obtained multiple certifications. In 2006, they attended the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Trade Fair, Congress and Event Management. Tobias then pursued further education at FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in IT-Management.

Additionally, Tobias Zwingmann has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they completed the "R Programming: Advanced Analytics In R For Data Science" course offered by Udemy. In 2017, they obtained the "Data Scientist Basic Level" certification from the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and also completed the "Machine Learning" course by Stanford University through Coursera.

In 2018, Tobias acquired the "Certified Data Scientist Specialized in Data Analytics" certification from Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. The following year, they obtained the "Bayesian Statistics: From Concept to Data Analysis" course certificate from the University of California, Santa Cruz. In 2019, Tobias completed various courses related to Google Cloud Platform, such as "Building Resilient Streaming Systems," "Data Engineering," "Serverless Machine Learning," and more, all identified by Coursera Course Certificates. Tobias further acquired the "AI For Business Leaders – Executive Program" certificate from Udacity and the "Certified Senior Data Scientist" certification from Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft.
