Mattias Springfelter

Mattias Springfelter has an extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Mattias currently serves as the Head of Pharmaceutical Development at Orexo AB publ since March 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Formulation Development at RECIPHARM PHARMACEUTICAL DEVELOPMENT AB from October 2018 to March 2021. Before that, they worked as a Team Leader Formulation Development at Recipharm from December 2016 to October 2018. Mattias also served as a Senior Formulation Scientist at Recipharm Pharmaceutical Development AB from April 2012 to December 2016. Mattias started their career as a Development Chemist at ACO HUD NORDIC AB in August 2008 and subsequently worked as a Product Developer at Orexo AB from January 2007 to August 2008. Mattias also has experience working at AstraZeneca, where they held various roles including Product Maintenance Engineer, Development Engineer, Process Engineer, and Quality Assurance Engineer from 1999 to 2007.

Mattias Springfelter attended Uppsala University from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Pharmacy.
