Head Of People & Culture at Orfium

Kathleen Habib has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 as an Administrative Assistant at Awaken Wellness, LLC. Kathleen then became a Clinical Intern at Maryland University of Integrative Health, where they worked with clients to help them achieve their nutrition and wellness goals. In 2013, they also worked as a freelance writer for various companies in the fitness and wellbeing industry.

In 2014, Kathleen joined Salt & Straw as a Training Manager and later became a Retail Operations Project Manager. Kathleen played a key role in developing training systems, materials, and tools, as well as coordinating projects with internal and external stakeholders.

From 2018 to 2020, Kathleen served as the Director of Training at SunLife Organics, where they designed and implemented learning programs for employees. Kathleen focused on creating consistent operations and cultivating the company's culture.

In 2020, Kathleen joined Dr. Oetker Hospitality GmbH as the Head of Operations for the USA branch, responsible for launching a new fast casual dessert concept.

Currently, Kathleen is the Head of People & Culture at Orfium, a position they have held since 2022.

Kathleen Habib completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Theatre/Theater from the University of Southern California from 2004 to 2008. Kathleen then pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) in Nutrition and Integrative Health at the Maryland University of Integrative Health from 2011 to 2013. In addition, Kathleen obtained the certification of Certified Nutrition Specialist™ professional from the Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists in July 2015.
