Konstantinos Eftaxias

Konstantinos Eftaxias has extensive experience in the field of data science. Konstantinos currently works as a Senior Data Scientist at Orfium since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Data Scientist at Data Messa starting from June 2019. Konstantinos also held the position of Senior Data Scientist at the National Technical University of Athens from March 2020 to March 2022. Before entering the industry, they worked as a Principal Data Scientist at WSP in the UK from June 2015 to September 2019. Additionally, Konstantinos has a background in academia, having worked as a Researcher, PhD Candidate, and Teaching Assistant at the University of Surrey from October 2011 to June 2015. Konstantinos started their professional career as a Physics Tutor, working as a self-employed individual from October 2003 to June 2011.

Konstantinos Eftaxias obtained their B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Patras, where they studied from 2001 to 2008. Konstantinos then pursued further education and received an M.Sc. in Information Technologies in Medicine and Biology from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, studying from 2008 to 2010. Continuing their academic journey, Konstantinos completed a PhD in Machine Learning and EEG Signal Processing from the University of Surrey between 2011 and 2014. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification as an Agile PM Practitioner from APMG International in June 2017.
