Carla Balen, SPHR, serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Organically Grown Company, where Carla focuses on sourcing and distributing fresh, organically grown produce across the Pacific Northwest since October 2020. Prior to this role, Carla worked as a Leadership Consultant at PeopleFirm, contributing to organizational success through strategic consulting until October 2020. Carla's extensive experience also includes positions such as Vice President of Human Resources for the Americas at Dr. Martens, Director of Talent Management at Rain the Growth Agency, and HR Partner/Project Manager at Banfield Pet Hospital, among others. Carla holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Western Michigan University and a Project Management Certificate from Portland State University.
