Peter Hango

Peter Hango is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in security and talent acquisition. Currently serving as a Talent Acquisition Assistant at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) since October 2008, Peter has also held the position of Security Officer within the same organization. Previously, Peter worked at the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (UN-ICTY) as a Senior Security Officer from February 2003 to October 2008 and at the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (UN-ICTR) in a security role from January 2002 to February 2003. Peter's career began in the Tanzania Prisons Service as an Assistant Inspector of Prisons from May 1999 to January 2002 and includes experience as a Technical Clerk II at Polyester Textiles Mills Ltd. Peter's educational background includes a Certificate in Human Resources Management and Services from Brighton School of Business and Management and an Advanced Diploma in Public Administration (Personnel Management) from IDM, Mzumbe, Tanzania.
