Assistant Head Of Security Operations at OPCW

Peter Zmiyarch has extensive experience in security operations, currently serving as the Assistant Head of Security Operations at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) since January 2007 and as a Member of the Board for the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) since January 2014. Prior to these roles, Peter Zmiyarch held the position of Assistant Chief of Security at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) from 1995 to 2007 and served as a Marine in the United States Marine Corps from February 1984 to January 1992. Peter Zmiyarch's education includes a Graduate Certificate in Physical Security Training from the United States Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Webster University, and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a concentration in Security Management, earned cum laude from American Military University.
