Sergey Fadeev

Sergey Fadeev is a seasoned consultant at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) since March 2012, specializing in the validation and evaluation of chemical demilitarization declarations. Initially starting as an Evaluation Officer, Sergey successfully ascended to the Head of the Declarations Validation and Evaluation Section within two years, achieving a KPI increase from 95% to 98% and establishing a fully operational team recognized for its professionalism by stakeholders. Prior to joining OPCW, Sergey served as a Military Officer at the Russian Ministry of Defence from June 1998 to March 2012, beginning as a Research Officer and advancing to a Senior Military Officer. Sergey holds a Master's Degree in Special Construction Materials, Chemical Engineering from the Military Academy of Chemical Defence and has pursued further education at SkillFactory from 2020 to 2022.
