Mauricio Isaza Mesa

Mauricio Isaza Mesa has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mauricio started their career as a Gerente at Flores del Hato, where they were responsible for strategic direction and managing a team of 350 employees. After ten years, they transitioned to the academic field and joined Universidad Sergio Arboleda as the Decano de PRIME Business School, overseeing the implementation of the business school's strategy and managing various departments within the university. Mauricio also served as the Director of Educación Ejecutiva y Consultoría, where they designed and implemented executive education programs and consulting services. Mauricio then took on the role of Vicepresidente de Potencia at Organización Equitel S.A., where they led the strategic and operational direction of the Power division, including units like maintenance management and special projects. Currently, they hold the position of CEO of Organización Equitel, where they continue to guide the overall direction of the company.

Mauricio Isaza Mesa has an extensive education history. Mauricio obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes in 1997. Mauricio also holds a Certification in Systems Management Control from the same university in 1998. In 2000, they became an expert in Simulation and Financial Decision Making supported by Excel from CESA. In 2003, they completed a Construction Implementation of the Balanced Scorecard course at Consult International. In 2004, they became an Auditor of Quality with ISO9001 certification from Diza Prime and completed a course in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the Latin American Logistic Center in Atlanta. In 2006, Mauricio completed a Specialization in Finance and International Business from Universidad de La Sabana. Mauricio also received a Certification in Lifetime Customer Satisfaction with the Kaizen method from the American Marketing Association in 2007. In 2009, they completed a seminar on the New Leadership Code at Seminarium. In 2010, they undertook a Negotiation and Relationship course at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and completed a course in The Psychology of Successful Negotiators at Yale School of Management. In 2011, Mauricio attended courses on Advanced Negotiation at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Actuating the Thought and Thinking the Act at Escuela Matriztica de Santiago. In 2012, they pursued an Executive MBA in Business Administration at Universidad Sergio Arboleda and also completed a course on Human Formation: Reflexive Autonomy of Action at Escuela Matriztica. In 2013, they attended a Business Innovation Strategies for International Competitiveness course at Universitat Politècnica de València. In 2016, they obtained a certification in 7 Advanced Functionalities of Excel 2010 from Udemy.
