Natalie Semczuk is a seasoned project manager and digital strategist with extensive experience in managing complex projects and client relationships across various organizations. Currently serving as a Strategic Planning Committee Volunteer at the Organization for Transformative Works since March 2021, Natalie facilitates the research and implementation of a 5-year strategic plan while supporting major initiatives such as Archive Of Our Own and Fanlore. Previously, at Kanopi Studios, as a Senior Project Manager, Natalie led substantial support projects, fostered enterprise relationships, and identified upsell opportunities, while their tenure as Project Manager at Culture Foundry focused on growing project accounts and developing a Growth Playbook. Natalie's freelance consulting work showcases a strong capability in managing small teams and defining project directions, with a client portfolio including notable organizations. Educationally, Natalie holds a B.S. in Electronic Media, Arts & Communication and a Master of Science in Science, Technology and Society from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

The Organization for Transformative Works (OTW) is a nonprofit organization established by fans to serve the interests of fans by providing access to and preserving the history of fanworks and fan culture in its myriad forms. The OTW engages in legal advocacy to represent fans' interests in legal and government discussions about copyright's effects. We also produce ongoing projects for public use. We have been an entirely virtual workplace since our inception in 2007. We recruit in various areas such as coding, systems administration, technical support, human resources, legal, finance, fundraising, webmasters, translation, documentation, graphic artists, platform design, strategic planning, editors and proofreaders, academic reviewers, wiki management, and communications. In addition, we have unique positions such as tag wranglers, who classify content at our most used project, the Archive of Our Own.
