Hilary Anderson is a Senior Gender Specialist at the Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM) within the Organization of American States (OAS), a position held since November 2009. Anderson has led the preparation of Strategic Plans for the periods 2011-2016 and 2016-2021, focusing on governance, human rights, security, and development. Responsibilities include project coordination, donor engagement, and program proposal development. Prior to this role, Anderson served as an Information Officer at the United Nations and as a Gender Specialist/Information and Network Coordinator at the Pan-American Health Organization. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Gender and Development Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Hispanic Studies from McGill University, along with a Diploma of Collegial Studies in Languages and Literature from John Abbott College.
