Oscar Rivera

Oscar Rivera is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in quality compliance and technical operations. Currently serving as the Quality Compliance Associated Director at Organon since June 2021, Oscar has previously held the position of Director of Technical Operations at MSD for a decade, where responsibilities included validation, technology transfer, and equipment upgrades across multiple manufacturing facilities. Oscar's career highlights include implementing lean six sigma strategies that significantly reduced operating costs and headcount, as well as successful compliance improvements and process optimizations. Oscar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from UNAM and various certifications, including a Black Belt in Six Sigma from Merck Sigma and a diploma in Effective Supervision from Rhône-Poulenc Rorer.
