Shawn Varughese

Shawn Varughese, PMP, is an accomplished Distribution and Bulk Packaging Engineer at Organon since December 2022, with extensive experience in packaging engineering and project management across multiple companies. Previously, Shawn served as a Packaging Process Engineer at Hikma Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities included leading FAT teams, commissioning capital equipment, and managing cross-departmental projects. Prior roles as Project Engineer at Sonoco and Universal Machine Company involved interpreting customer needs, creating CAD designs, overseeing project management, and conducting FAT, while earlier positions at Johnson & Johnson and Parker Hannifin focused on manufacturing processes, quality control, and mechanical design. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
