Cari Rosette

Cari Rosette has a diverse work experience in the field of drug discovery and research. Cari is currently serving as the Director of Drug Discovery at Organovo Holdings, Inc. since February 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Research & Development at Bellatrix Pharmaceuticals from July 2016 to February 2022. In this role, they provided strategic, managerial, and scientific leadership in areas such as oncology, target discovery, and exploratory biology.

Before joining Bellatrix Pharmaceuticals, Cari worked as an Associate Director of R&D at Cosmo Bioscience from January 2006 to July 2016. Cari also served as a Principal Investigator at the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Foundation from December 2004 to December 2005.

In the early stages of their career, Cari worked as a Scientist at Sequenom Inc from 2002 to 2004 and as a Research Assistant at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from 1986 to 1989.

Cari Rosette has an extensive education history. Cari began their academic journey in 1981 at the University of California, Berkeley, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biophysics. After completing their undergraduate studies in 1986, they went on to further their education at the University of California, San Diego - School of Medicine. From 1989 to 1996, Rosette dedicated herself to obtaining a Ph.D. in Molecular Signal Transduction. Following the completion of their doctoral degree, they continued to expand their knowledge in the field of immunology by pursuing a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Minnesota. This postdoc position lasted from 1996 to 2000. With their well-rounded education in both biophysics and molecular signal transduction, Rosette possesses a strong foundation for their professional career in the scientific field.
