Ommair Zafar

Ommair Zafar is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Systems Verification & Design Transfer Engineer at OrganOx since September 2024. Previous roles include Manufacturing Engineer at Bladon Micro Turbine, System Verification Test Engineer, and Systems Test Engineer at Elekta, where tenure spanned from December 2021 to October 2023 and August 2018 to December 2020 respectively. Ommair also worked as a Production Craftsman at Elekta and as a Group Calibration Engineer at Ametek Airtechnology Group Ltd., overseeing calibration activities and producing metrics and presentations. Early career experience includes the role of Electromechanical Technician in the production of critical aviation components. Ommair holds an Engineer’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Kingston University, along with a BTEC Level 5 HND and diplomas in Aeronautical Engineering from Crawley College, and completed high school with GCSEs at Holy Trinity Secondary School.
