Dr. Gernot Brasen

Dr. Gernot Brasen has extensive work experience in project management and automation in various companies. Most recently, they are the Project Lead Instrument Development at ORGENTEC Diagnostika GmbH since January 2021. From October 2009 to January 2021, they worked at Bio-Rad Laboratories as an R&D Automation Project Manager for IVD product development. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager for Process Automation at IMSTec GmbH from April 2006 to September 2009. Dr. Gernot also served as a Project Manager and Subject Matter Expert for Process Monitoring and Measurement Technology at IBM Deutschland GmbH from January 2004 to March 2006. From May 1999 to December 2003, they worked as a Project Manager for Quality and Process Monitoring in the manufacturing department of Speichersysteme GmbH at IBM.

Dr. Gernot Brasen received their Promotion in Physik from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau from 1988 to 1998. Dr. Gernot also attended Aufbaugymnasium Alzey, but no specific degree or field of study is provided for this institution. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Certified Professional for Medical Software from iSQI GmbH in 2014 and is a Project Management Professional certified by the Project Management Institute.
