Arsenije Catic

Arsenije Catic has diverse work experience in the field of design and product development. Arsenije started their career as a Web Designer at Univerzitet Metropolitan in 2009 while studying online. In 2010, they co-founded their first startup, Taksiko, where they served as a Co-founder and Product Designer, successfully implementing a pilot project with a major Serbian taxi company.

In 2011, Arsenije co-founded another startup, Petsmos, where they worked as a Co-founder and Product Designer. Their platform aimed to help people remember moments with their pets and gained a significant user base within the first six months. Later that year, they joined Gecko Solutions d.o.o. as an Experience Designer and was later promoted to Design Team Lead. In this role, they led a team of designers, managed design planning and delivery, and directly communicated with clients.

In 2014, Arsenije became the Head of Product Design at Seven Bridges, overseeing a team of interaction designers, frontend engineers, and prototypers. Arsenije played a crucial role in turning complex omics concepts into seamless user experiences. Additionally, they took on the role of Product Development Manager, advocating for design improvements, and acting as a manager on various projects.

Most recently, in 2020, Arsenije joined Orgnostic as the CPO, displaying their expertise in product development and strategy. Overall, Arsenije Catic has had a successful career in design and product development, with a strong focus on leading teams, advocating for design improvements, and delivering high-quality user experiences.

Arsenije Catic obtained a Bachelor's degree in Interactive Media Design from Univerzitet Metropolitan, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. In addition to their degree, Arsenije also holds several certifications in various fields. In 2014, they completed the certification for Programming for Everybody (Python) from the University of Michigan. In 2014, they also obtained a certification in Bioinformatics: Life Sciences on Your Computer from Johns Hopkins University, and a certification in Bioinformatics: Introduction and Methods from Peking University. The following year, in 2015, Arsenije acquired a certification in Introduction to Genomic Technologies and Python for Genomic Data Science, both from Johns Hopkins University. In 2016, they obtained a certification in Influencing People from the University of Michigan. Later in 2017, Arsenije earned a certification in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from The University of Edinburgh. Lastly, in 2019, they obtained a certification in Sheryl Sandberg and Adam Grant on Option B: Building Resilience from LinkedIn, and in 2021, they obtained a certification in The Art of Longform from Ribbonfarm.
