Deanna Petersen

Deanna Petersen is the current advisor at Ori Biotech. Deanna has over 25 years of experience in business development, including positions as Vice President of Business Development at Agenus Inc., Shire, and Coley Pharmaceutical Group, Inc. Deanna has also served as Director of Technology Transfer and Research Marketing at the University of Iowa. Throughout their career, Petersen has been instrumental in the identification, evaluation, negotiation, and execution of public and private mergers and acquisitions, licenses, R&D collaborations, and other transactions. Her experience and expertise have made their an invaluable asset to their current company.

Deanna Petersen has an MBA from the University of Iowa with concentrations in finance and marketing. Deanna also has a BS in Biology from Iowa State University. Deanna has completed the Shire Executive Development Program at The Wharton School.
