Manuel Rubilar

Manuel Rubilar is an experienced operations manager at Orica, having served since September 1997 in various leadership roles, including Manager Operations Assurance Latam and Operations Excellence Lead Latin America. Responsibilities have included oversight of open pit and underground sites in Mexico, managing 200 personnel, and resource planning for blasting services across ten locations. Previous roles at Orica also encompassed management of operational sites in northern Chile. Prior to Orica, Manuel held positions at Barrick Gold Corporation as a Ventilation Engineer and at Enacar as Head of Mine Development. Academically, Manuel holds an Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad de Santiago de Chile and a managerial skills diploma from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
