Michelle Lafranchi has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Michelle most recently worked at Orica as a Project Lead in IT, where they played a key role in COE recruitment and managed a global AutoCAD upgrade project. Prior to this, they held multiple positions at SKILLED Group, including PMO Manager and Business Analyst, where they oversaw financial results, maintained project governance procedures, and implemented process improvements. Michelle also worked as a Senior Management Accountant, ensuring compliance with statutory and employment obligations. Earlier in their career, Michelle worked at Colonial First State Global Asset Management as a Property Analyst, focusing on process improvement and team leadership. Michelle began their career as a Management Accountant at L'Oréal and a Financial Accountant at Timbercorp.

Michelle Lafranchi attended Deakin University from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Accounting & MIS. In 2007, they obtained a CPA certification from CPA Australia. Additionally, in 2016, they completed the PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner Certification Training provided by PeopleCert.
