Nasir Bashiruddin

Nasir Bashiruddin's work experience includes serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer at OriCiro Genomics, Inc. since September 2022 and July 2021 respectively. Prior to that, they worked at PeptiDream Inc (4587) as a Director from January 2020 to May 2021, an Associate Director from April 2018 to December 2019, and a Research Scientist from August 2016 to March 2018. Before joining PeptiDream Inc, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate student at The University of Tokyo from April 2015 to August 2016 and April 2012 to March 2015 respectively. Nasir also worked at Puget Sound Blood Center as a Research Technologist from September 2008 to December 2009 and as a Technician from April 2007 to August 2008.

Nasir Bashiruddin completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a focus on Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental biology from the University of Washington in 2006. Following this, they obtained a Certification in Biotechnology from Seattle Central College in 2008. Moving forward, Nasir pursued their MS degree in Systems Biology at Kyushu University from 2010 to 2012. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioorganic Chemistry from The University of Tokyo between 2012 and 2015.
