Phil Hawtin

Phil Hawtin is a Project Engineer at Origami since February 2023, specializing in onboarding green energy assets and ensuring compliance with CDM regulations while overseeing health and safety for on-site work. Prior to this, Phil had an extensive career at Trinity House from September 2005 to February 2023, progressing from Apprentice Technician to Project Engineer and serving as a lead technical expert on multiple capital engineering projects. In earlier roles, Phil gained valuable experience as a Support Engineer, Assistant Design Engineer, and Control & Communications Technician. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng Hons) in Electronic Engineering from The Open University and various diplomas from Colchester Institute, including an Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering and an HNC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
