Kara Christy

Kara Christy, MS, OTRL, CBIS, serves as an Occupational Therapy Supervisor and Occupational Therapist at Origami Rehabilitation since June 2010, where expertise includes vision therapy, cognitive perceptual motor retraining, and pre-driving, in addition to creating treatment plans for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). In parallel, Kara has been a Dance Instructor at Rising Star Studio Of Dance since September 2008, teaching various dance styles and directing a specialized program, "A Chance to Dance," for individuals with special needs. Additionally, between September 2012 and June 2016, Kara directed Youth Ministry at Wacousta Community United Methodist Church, focusing on service projects and mission experiences for youth in the local community. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the same institution.
