Art Shirley

Art Shirley has a vast work experience in various roles and companies. Art has served as the Chief Commercial Officer at EvolOH, where they were responsible for finding customers and manufacturing partners for the company's electrolyzer technology. Prior to this, Art was the Chief Development Officer at EvolOH and worked as a Strategic Advisor.

Before joining EvolOH, Art worked at Airgas as the Vice President for the Helium & Hydrogen Product Lines and later as the Vice President for Gases Business Development. Art also had a significant tenure at The Linde Group, where they held the position of Head of Chemistry & Energy, focusing on business, market, and strategy development for customers in the energy, chemicals, refining, and pharmaceutical fields. Art played a key role in initiating and supporting sales activities, resulting in substantial new business and multi-million dollar offers.

Earlier in their career, Art was associated with The BOC Group as a Section Director for Chemical Technology and Modeling, Technology Director for Global Business Development, and Section Manager for BOC Gases Technology. Art led various business development and commercialization initiatives, such as process improvements for polyester manufacturers, marketing strategies for process/patent licensing, and commercialization of new hydrocarbon separation processes.

Art began their career at BP (formerly ARCO Oil & Gas Co) as a Senior Engineer, where they specialized in designing mobility control techniques for enhanced oil production. Art made significant contributions by identifying mechanisms for in situ CO2 foam production and modeling depleted reservoirs.

Throughout their extensive work experience, Art has demonstrated expertise in business development, strategy, commercialization, and innovation across various industries.

Art Shirley has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. Art also obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. Furthermore, Art Shirley holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University.
