Jr. Scrum Master at Origence

Ben Lane has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ben began their career as a New Student Orientation Leader at The University of New Mexico in 2017, where they mentored and guided incoming students. Ben then worked as a Marketing Director for Associated Students at the University of New Mexico in 2018, overseeing marketing campaigns for SSE events and achieving record attendance at the 2018 Fiestas event.

In the same year, Ben also gained experience as a Marketing Intern at Sarah Cannon, conducting market research, creating social media content, and assisting in organizing brand activation events. Ben continued their marketing journey as a Marketing Assistant at The University of New Mexico in 2018-2019, implementing new strategies, generating reports, and creating branded materials for social media channels.

In 2019, Ben served as a Creative Team Intern at New Mexico United, contributing to the team's success in becoming the top-selling merchandise line in the league. Ben later transitioned to a Marketing Intern role at Sarah Cannon, where they continued to conduct market research, analyze trends, and create social media content.

Moving on to other ventures, Ben joined Stone Age Climbing Gym in 2020 as a Marketing Coordinator, Customer Service Representative, and Instructor. Ben'sresponsibilities included creating video series to attract new members and showcasing the gym's welcoming atmosphere and climbing community.

Ben's creativity also led him to become a Video Editor at Five Guys Europe in 2022, where they utilized their video editing skills. Ben then secured a position as a Jr. Scrum Master at Origence in the same year.

Finally, their international experience includes working as a Language Assistant and Cultural Ambassador through the North American Language and Culture Assistants Program in Madrid. During this time, they designed and implemented English-language integration curricula and fostered bicultural appreciation among students and faculty.

Ben Lane attended The University of New Mexico from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Film. In addition to their degree, Ben Lane also earned several certifications. In April 2023, they became a Certified SAFe® 6 Advanced Scrum Master and a Certified SAFe® 6 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. Earlier, in January 2023, they received certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Advanced Scrum Master. In November 2022, they became a Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner and a Certified SAFe® 5 Scrum Master. Before their degrees and certifications, Ben Lane obtained the Climbing Wall Instructor certification from the American Mountain Guides Association in April 2021. Lastly, in April 2019, they acquired the Wilderness/Remote Location First Aid certification from NOLS.
