Seongseop (John) Kim

Seongseop (John) Kim has held a variety of roles in the scientific field. Starting in 2001, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Yonsei University. Seongseop (John) then moved on to BioInfra in 2004 as a Research Assistant, followed by a Research Assistant role at the National Cancer Center in 2005. In 2007, they began working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota. In 2013, they transitioned to a Postdoctoral Associate role at Yale University School of Medicine. In 2016, they became a Field Application Scientist at Logos Biosystems. Most recently, in 2018, they began working at OriGene Technologies as a Technical Support Scientist and was later promoted to Technical Support Manager.

Seongseop (John) Kim obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Yonsei University in 2005. Seongseop (John) then furthered their studies at the University of Minnesota, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology & Genetics in 2013.
