David Allen

David Allen has extensive work experience in the publishing industry. David has held various roles in different companies, including Origin Editorial, Elsevier, CIG Media Group, lp, and the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research. David has worked as an Editorial Director, Managing Editor, Publisher, and Publishing Consultant, among other positions. David'sresponsibilities have included managing peer review processes, developing publishing strategies, building relationships with institutions and patient groups, and overseeing budget and contract management. David is skilled in proposal creation, contract negotiation, and employee management. Prior to their publishing career, David worked as a Grocery Manager at Food Lion and as a Community Assistant at North Carolina State University.

David Allen obtained a Bachelor's degree in English, Rhetoric, Writing & Language from North Carolina State University in the years 1995 to 1999. In 2017 to 2018, they completed the Program of Alternative Certification for Educators (PACE) and successfully passed the Praxis® English Language Arts: Content Knowledge test.
