Erin Landis has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Erin is currently serving as the Managing Director at Origin Editorial. Prior to that, Erin worked at the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) in various roles. Erin served as the Vice President of Publications, where they provided strong leadership and strategic direction for all publishing and editorial operations. Erin also held the position of Senior Director, Scholarly Publishing, overseeing the association's scholarly publishing program and launching their first open-access journal. Erin's earlier roles at AGA included Director, Editorial Services, and Managing Editor of Gastroenterology. Before joining AGA, they worked as a Research Analyst at COSMOS Corp and as a Research Assistant at Behavior and Health Research, Inc. In these roles, they contributed to various research projects and provided support in data analysis and management.

Erin Landis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from William & Mary, completed from 1995 to 1999. Erin pursued coursework towards a Certificate in Business Administration at Georgetown University from 2013 to 2015. Erin also obtained a Continuing Education Certificate in Publishing from EEI Communications during 2007-2009 and attended a Journal Marketing Workshop at the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers in 2008. Erin further pursued Continuing Education Credit in Management at Montgomery College from 2006 to 2008 and from SkillPath, EEI, they completed Continuing Education programs in Management, Quark, and Conflict Management from 2002 to 2007. Erin Landis also possesses a Certificate of Completion in Design Thinking from the American Management Association, obtained in 2019.
