Josh Hammett

Josh Hammett has been working in the IT field for over 18 years. Josh started their career as a systems analyst/network specialist/consultant with Hi-Tech Computers in February 2002. Josh was responsible for assessing the technological needs of a broad range of corporations and organizations in order to present and implement working solutions to improve efficiency and productivity, reduce costs, and/or introduce businesses to new, improved technology. Josh was also responsible for client/server network administration from infrastructure planning, through installation, and into the maintenance level. In their time at Hi-Tech Computers, Josh was able to create multiple templates and business practices that improved the efficiency and productivity of employees.

In April 2004, Josh Hammett transitioned to their current role as CIO at Origin Bank. As CIO, they are responsible for the bank's overall IT strategy and execution. Josh has continued to build on their experience from Hi-Tech Computers, and has been able to successfully implement a number of IT initiatives that have improved the bank's efficiency and bottom line.

Josh Hammett attended Louisiana Tech University, where they earned a Bachelor of Computer Information Systems and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
